Welcome to Scribbler Scoop. These Terms of Service govern your use of ScribblerScoop.com and purchases made through our store. “Scribbler Scoop,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Scribbler Scoop. Our store is powered by Shopify. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy, Refund, and Shipping Policies.
Eligibility and Accounts
Customers must be 18 or older to purchase independently. A person under 18 may use the site or participate in a purchase only with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Customers may create accounts and are responsible for accurate information and account security. Purchases are for personal/household use or gifts and are not authorized for commercial resale.
Mystery Scoops
Scribbler Scoop uses a physical bead-scoop system to determine surprise merchandise. Bead selection is always random, and each purchased scoop is performed separately. Specific products, brands, colors, styles, quantities, bead combinations, and retail values are not guaranteed. Duplicate items may occur. Photos and videos are illustrative. If a pictured item is unavailable, we may substitute an item of comparable type or value. We may also substitute when an inventory error makes an intended item unavailable.
Preferences and Exclusions
When offered, customers may submit color, style, category, or reasonable exclusion preferences. Preferences and exclusions are requests only and are never guaranteed. Customers may not request particular bead shapes, colors, or combinations. Preferences must not be relied upon as allergy or medical-sensitivity guarantees.
Cosmetics and Beauty Products
Cosmetics and beauty products are new, unused, and unopened/sealed when applicable. Scribbler Scoop does not manufacture them and does not independently warrant their ingredients, effectiveness, performance, or suitability beyond manufacturer information. Customers must review ingredients, directions, warnings, and allergy information before use. Stop use if irritation or an adverse reaction occurs and seek appropriate medical attention when necessary. Products should be used only as directed and for external use unless the manufacturer says otherwise. We will not knowingly include expired cosmetics. A cosmetic with a printed expiration date will not knowingly be shipped with fewer than three months remaining. This three-month rule applies only to cosmetics/beauty products with printed expiration dates.
Products, Packaging, and Safety
We may include new/unused clearance, overstock, seasonal, discontinued, or closeout merchandise that meets applicable quality and safety standards. Minor cosmetic imperfections to outer retail packaging may occur if the product itself is new, unused, functional, undamaged, and safe. A manufacturer safety or tamper-evident seal that should be intact must not be broken, damaged, or missing. Products may contain small parts and may present a choking hazard; products containing small parts are not intended for children under 3. Follow manufacturer warnings and age recommendations.
Orders, Cancellations, and Changes
A customer may request cancellation or a scoop-size change/upgrade before physical scooping/preparation begins. Once scooping begins, the order is in preparation and may no longer be canceled or changed. We may limit quantities, cancel suspected fraudulent orders, correct or cancel orders involving obvious pricing, product, inventory, promotion, or shipping-cost errors, and refuse service for abusive, threatening, fraudulent, or improper conduct, subject to law. If we cannot reasonably fulfill an order, we may cancel it and refund the applicable amount to the original payment method. Multiple separately placed orders may be combined into one shipment when practical; actual shipping savings will be refunded when applicable. Combining shipments does not combine separate scoops.
Prices, Promotions, Gift Cards, and Store Credit
Prices and promotions may change without notice, subject to applicable law. Discount codes cannot be combined unless Scribbler Scoop specifically states otherwise and cannot be applied retroactively. If an order is changed before scooping, a discount carries over only if the promotion remains applicable. Promotional gifts may be removed if eligibility is lost; unavailable promotional gifts may be replaced with a reasonably comparable complimentary item. Gift cards are non-refundable, do not expire, and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Store credit does not expire, is non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash except where required by law; it may be used with a valid promotional code unless a promotion says otherwise.
Shipping
Orders are normally processed and shipped within 5–10 business days, excluding weekends and federal holidays. Launches, holidays, promotions, unusually high volume, severe weather, or other circumstances may cause additional processing time. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Shipping is calculated at checkout. We may select the carrier/service that offers the best option. We ship within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses; P.O. boxes are accepted when supported. Customers are responsible for accurate addresses, tracking, and prompt retrieval.
Scoop Video Add-On
Customers may purchase an optional scoop-video add-on. Videos are normally hands-only/product-focused. Customers may choose Private or Public Video and may change the choice before recording begins. Private videos may be delivered by email/link or direct social-media message and may be retained indefinitely for legitimate internal purposes; they will not be publicly used without separate permission. Public Video authorizes Scribbler Scoop to record, edit, post, repost, share, and use the video indefinitely for promotion, including paid advertising, subject to law. We may use a first name, username, nickname, or order reference but will not intentionally display private address, email, phone, or payment information. Public videos may be edited; platform licensing may require music to be changed or removed. Platform actions are outside our control. The add-on is non-refundable after recording begins. If we cannot provide the video because of our technical/operational failure, the video fee will be refunded while the merchandise order continues normally.
Claims and Fulfillment Errors
Damaged, defective, opened, leaking, or broken/missing safety-seal items; missing items/scoops; and wrong-order or wrong-quantity claims must be reported to hello@scribblerscoop.com within 48 hours of delivery. Provide the order number and, when possible, photos of the item, all contents, packaging, and shipping materials. Photograph visibly damaged outer packaging before opening when reasonably possible. Retain packaging until the claim is resolved; a claim may be denied when discarded materials prevent reasonable verification. Approved claims may receive a replacement, comparable substitute, or store credit at our discretion; if only one item is affected, the remedy applies only to that item. We cover shipping for approved replacements. Customers may keep/dispose of approved damaged/defective items unless a recall or law requires otherwise. For lost-in-transit packages, we may provide replacement or store credit at our discretion. Packages correctly delivered and later stolen are not our responsibility. Packages returned due to an incorrect/incomplete customer address require a new shipping charge to resend; delivery to a customer-entered wrong address is not our responsibility. Refused/unclaimed packages are held for 30 days after notice; then they are considered abandoned. Unordered extra items may be kept at no charge. Wrong orders caused by us will be corrected at no cost; if return is requested, we provide a no-cost return method. If the correct merchandise is unavailable, we may choose a comparable replacement, store credit, or refund of the affected amount.
Recalls and Warranties
If a product is subject to an official manufacturer or government recall, applicable recall requirements and remedies control. We may contact affected customers using order information for safety notices even if they have not opted into marketing. Manufacturer warranties that apply after delivery are generally handled by the manufacturer, while our 48-hour arrival-damage/defect process remains available.
Intellectual Property and Customer Content
Scribbler Scoop names, logos, graphics, text, photographs, videos, and other original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Customer feedback may be used under a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license for operating and promoting the business, subject to law. If a customer publicly posts a photo/video featuring Scribbler Scoop products and tags or directly mentions Scribbler Scoop or its official social account, the customer grants permission for Scribbler Scoop to repost/share that tagged content for promotional purposes, subject to law.
Disclaimer, Liability, and Governing Law
The site and products are provided as available, subject to warranties and rights that cannot legally be excluded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scribbler Scoop is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. These Terms are governed by Pennsylvania law. Customers are encouraged to contact hello@scribblerscoop.com first to resolve disputes informally. Legal actions must be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction and venue.
