Scribbler Scoop operates ScribblerScoop.com and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our site, create an account, place an order, communicate with us, or otherwise use our Services. Our store is powered by Shopify.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use ScribblerScoop.com, we may collect name, billing/shipping address, email, phone, account information, order/transaction information, communications, device/browser/network information, IP address, and usage information. Payment information is processed through Shopify and applicable payment providers.
Sources and Uses
We collect information directly from you, automatically through the site and cookies, from Shopify/service providers, and from other permitted sources. We use information to operate the store, create/manage accounts, process payments and orders, arrange shipping, provide support, maintain preferences, conduct Shopify-supported analytics, prevent fraud, maintain security, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce policies. If you opt into email marketing, we may send launches, restocks, promotions, and other marketing; you may unsubscribe from promotional emails. Transactional, account, safety, and recall messages may still be sent when necessary.
Shopify, Cookies, and Analytics
Scribbler Scoop uses Shopify for store hosting, checkout, accounts, analytics, and related services. Shopify and service providers may process information on our behalf or as part of their services, including outside your country. Shopify and the site may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions, security, checkout, preferences, accounts, and analytics. We currently plan to use Shopify’s built-in analytics and do not represent that Meta/Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or Google Analytics are currently enabled.
How We Disclose Information
Information may be disclosed to Shopify, payment processors, shipping/fulfillment providers, technology/cloud providers, customer-support providers, analytics/security providers, professional advisers, and other service providers needed to operate the business. We may disclose information when you direct us to, to complete transactions, comply with law, protect rights/safety, or in connection with a business transaction. We do not sell customer information as a standalone business product. Where applicable law provides opt-out rights for sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, we will honor applicable rights.
Children
ScribblerScoop.com is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents/guardians may contact hello@scribblerscoop.com if they believe a child has provided information.
Scoop Videos
Private and Public Scoop Video practices are described in the Terms of Service. Private videos may be retained indefinitely for legitimate internal purposes, subject to applicable privacy rights. Customers may request deletion of a Private Video by emailing hello@scribblerscoop.com, although information may be retained when reasonably necessary for disputes, fraud investigation, legal obligations, or legitimate recordkeeping. Public videos are created only when selected and may be used indefinitely for promotion, including paid advertising, as described in the Terms.
Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information, but no system is perfect. We retain information as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain accounts and records, fulfill orders, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, comply with law, enforce agreements, and for legitimate business purposes. Scoop and packing videos may be retained indefinitely for the purposes described in our Terms and this Privacy Policy.
Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and as applicable under law, you may have rights to access/know, delete, correct, obtain a copy, request portability, opt out of certain targeted advertising/sale/sharing, and manage marketing preferences. Contact hello@scribblerscoop.com. We may verify identity before processing a request and will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
International Transfers, Third Parties, and Changes
Personal information may be transferred, stored, or processed outside your country. Third-party links are governed by third-party policies. We may update this Privacy Policy and will post the revised version with a new Last Updated date.
